You proposed. She said YES! Congratulations! You're getting married!

Now let's fast-forward ten years.

You have a family, and you're visiting friends for dinner. As everyone settles in, your child notices a beautiful album sitting on the coffee table.

"What's that?" he asks.

"Oh, that's our wedding album," your friend replies.

Your child looks at you and asks, "Mom, Dad, do you have a wedding album? I've never seen it." The room grows quiet as everyone waits for your answer.

"Sorry, honey... we don't have one." You painfully say!

Ouch.

That doesn't feel very good, does it?

I am grateful that throughout my childhood, I was able to look through my parents' wedding album. Even today, more than 57 years after their wedding day, it remains one of the most beautiful albums I have ever seen. Those photographs told a story, and that story inspired me.

Because of that album, one of my greatest dreams growing up was to get married.

When it came time for Macky and me to plan our own wedding, we already knew what was most important to us: preserving the memories through photographs and albums. Today, 27 years later, our wedding album remains one of our most treasured possessions. It reminds us of the day we became one before God and began our journey together as husband and wife.
