Marriage is more than just a ceremony or a celebration! It’s a covenant, a commitment, and a lifelong journey shaped by faith, perseverance, and love. After 25 wonderful years of marriage, Macky and I have learned that while every couple’s path is unique, the principles that sustain a strong union remain universal. We share these reflections with humility and gratitude, hoping they may guide couples preparing for their own journey!

Why Get Married
Marriage seals a lifelong promise of commitment—in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. It fulfills God’s order, reflecting His love for humanity, whom He created in His image. Through marriage, a couple receives God’s blessings for an everlasting union rooted in His presence and His home.
When to Get Married
This is perhaps the most difficult question to answer! For us, the timing came through prayer and seeking God’s guidance, both individually and together. Twenty-six years later, we remain grateful for His presence in our lives. You know the time is right when you have learned enough about each other—the good habits and the difficult ones. You must be willing to overcome challenges with grace, patience, and love every time a weakness appears.
Who to Marry
Marry the person you want to grow old with! Choose someone you can support when they are at their lowest. Trust is key; you need to know they will stand beside you when you are at your lowest. Remember, marriage is not about perfection; it’s about choosing someone whose heart you can walk with for a lifetime.
How to Get Married
Marry in justice and peace! It’s essential to have a legal foundation for your union, which provides peace of mind. Additionally, marrying in the church offers a spiritual foundation that strengthens you through every storm life presents. Marriage is an inheritance God grants to a couple—a blessing meant to be passed down to their family and future children.
Making Marriage Work
Forgiveness is essential! Reset and restart as many times as needed. Adjust, re-strategize, and grow together. Marriage offers infinite opportunities to improve and strengthen your bond. This work must be shared equally by both partners.
Making Marriage Last
Treat every day as a new beginning! Let yesterday go, believe that tomorrow will be better, and repeat this mindset daily. Longevity in marriage is built on renewal, not perfection.
Making Marriage Impactful
Find a shared purpose! Discover a way to serve others together using your love, strengths, and God-given gifts. A marriage that gives outwardly becomes a blessing not only to the couple but also to the community around them.
The Legacy of Your Love
Life is a journey, and your pictures are a legacy for your family and friends. We believe that pictures speak louder than words! They capture memories that are snippets of your time together. When you hire us, we don’t charge by the hour or the number of pictures we take. Capturing your moment is what truly matters to us!

In conclusion, marriage is a beautiful journey filled with love, challenges, and growth. Embrace every moment, cherish your partner, and let your love story unfold in the most authentic way possible! We’re here to help you capture those precious moments, ensuring that your love story is told beautifully through our lens!

Our wedding day was our happiest day, aside from the birth of our children. Our 26-year journey, with still more to come, is like sailing through the ocean of Life; wonderful moments, storms come and go, but we are always grateful to God for what we have encountered along our journey: joy, knowledge, experiences, wisdom, gains and losses, but ALWAYS in God's presence in our lives, in the good times and the bad times. Thank You Lord Jesus for being ALWAYS with US!!!
